Jerry Pekeles has earned the respect of his peers through his unshakable integrity and lifelong passion for the business. He started working for his father and uncle in 1969 and has since brought the company to the level of first class distributor laying a solid foundation for years to come. Jerry has been a member of both the Colabor and ITWAL board of directors (Jerry was president of Colabor for 4 years) and is always eager to be involved in any industry matters. Despite his success, Jerry is never one to sit still; his taste for excellence compels him to find ways to increase his company’s performance, even if it means telling it like it is.
After acquiring his CA in 1984, Abdul pursued 5 years in public accounting at Ernst & Young. Before joining Dubord in 1990, he also gained invaluable industry experience working for a private fruit & vegetable wholesaler for 3 years. Since 1990 Abdul has played a major role in bringing the company to where it is today. His meticulous nature and perfectionist approach have resulted in a highly efficient company that is continuously improving.
After 45 years of service, Pierre has become a pillar in the food service industry. He has gained valuable experience from managing the sales department at a major fruit and vegetable distributor, to becoming a Vice-President at Delixo, a division of Provigo; Pierre has built his career from the ground up. It is his hard work, keen business sense, and infectious personality that have made Pierre the key figure he is today.
